Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, or HBOT, is a special therapy treatment providing pure oxygen for patients in a special pressure chamber. The air pressure is increased to three times higher than normal air pressure to increase sufficient amount of oxygen for the blood to carry throughout your body in supporting better and quicker healing processes and fight infection. 

 Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is used to treat several medical conditions such as:

• Air or Gas Embolism

• Carbon Monoxide Poisoning

• Gas Gangrene

• Crush injury, compartment syndrome, and other acute ischemia

• Decompression Sickness

• Enhanced of Healing in Selected Problem Wounds

• Exceptional Anaemia

• Intracranial Abscess

• Necrotizing Soft Tissue Infections

• Osteomyelitis  (Refractory)

• Delayed Radiation Injury (Soft tissue and Bony Necrosis)

• Compromised Skin Graft and Flaps

• Stubborn Wounds

• Thermal Burns 

For most conditions, therapy lasts approximately two hours depending on our hyperbaric specialist.
